The academic calendar designates professional development days for the District. These days represent time when only staff remain at the school to engage in professional learning and required training. While schools are responsible for facilitating sessions, the Office of Professional Learning also coordinates sessions led by Central Office team members. Any office or external provider planning a training or professional development event on a district-wide PD day must seek approval from the Office of Professional Learning.
