School Emergency Operations Plans provide the framework for a school to identify and implement appropriate strategies to maintain compliance and create a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. Designated staff can access Previstar by logging into your employee portal via the District’s homepage.

Readiness and Emergency Management (REM) School Safety Plans provide the framework for a school to identify and implement appropriate strategies to maintain compliance and create a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.
For annual compliance, all schools are required to review each section and make updates in both the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Vital Information Packet (VIP) by August 23, 2024. When reviewing sections, please ensure that your plans include all the required information for each section as outlined in the EOP and VIP template. PLEASE NOTE: Each section of the plans should have an August 2024 “Record of Change” date in the Previstar System.
Steps to review/update school safety plans:
- Click “show content” to the right of the specific section
- Click “Check out for editing” (the users name will appear in red)
- Click on “View Plan” to open the document so you can make revisions
- After revisions, save the document on your desktop/specific folder (DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE DOCUMENT)
- Click “Upload New Content”
- Select the document saved on the desktop/specific folder (this will save the document in the Previstar System)
- Click “Save”
- Click “Submit for Approval”

click “Reports”
click “State ID Student Listing”
>sort by “Last Name”
>report format is “EXCEL”
>click “Generate Report”
Open excel report and copy/past student name & student ID only
