The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires each district to survey exiting seniors about their intentions after high school—specifically, whether students plan to obtain additional education, secure employment, or pursue other activities.

In addition to these requirements, ORE–in collaboration with the offices of College and Career Readiness and Career and Technical Education (CTE)–also collected data on students’ high school experiences and the supports they received in preparing for life after high school.
