FAQ
What are these sessions for?
These are online Zoom sessions to assist Oracle purchasers throughout the district that need hands-on assistance using Oracle to submit orders. Purchasers can also use these sessions for support with viewing and/or updating existing requisitions, purchase orders and purchase agreements.
Do I need a special technology to join the session?
No. When you click on the button to join the session, your computer may ask you to confirm that you want to “open zoom.us”. If you click yes, you will automatically be connected to the session in your web browser.
My question is simple — do I really need to join online?
No, in fact, we encourage you to utilize our ERPhelp website to for access to steppers and videos to support any inquires you may have. You can also email purchasing@philasd.org for assistance. We hope to keep online sessions available for those who need more hands-on assistance navigating Oracle as it relates to purchasing.
Will I get one-on-one assistance during these sessions?
Yes! We will help those on an individual, first-come-first-serve basis. If we are helping another person when you join, please keep your audio muted and we will help you as soon as we are able!
What if my need is urgent and I cannot make the scheduled office hours?
Please email purchasing@philasd.org and let us know that you are not able to join these sessions. We will do our best to assist you.
