Facility Area Coordinator, Network 12

Durrelle joined the District in May 1983, and  has worked here for 38 years. He was originally a Custodial Assistant, and later became a Building Engineer. In 2012, he was asked to serve as an Acting FAC, and was moved into a permanent FAC role in 2015.

Durrelle believes in the work he does because it involves the children of Philadelphia. He said children are his primary concern and priority, and they deserve the best we have to offer in terms of a clean, healthy and safe environment to learn in. Durrelle does his best to provide an environment where staff can work safely and easily as they serve the students. He strongly believes that the department has the potential to be the best facilities service organization in the region and it is his endeavor to move this department in that direction.

Durrelle is a proud graduate of University of Pittsburgh’s Class of 1982.
