Augustus S. Lover III became a District employee in June 1989, as a 5-hour Cleaner, and worked his way up to an FAC in April 2017. He regularly mentored Building
Engineers and Custodial Staff members to produce an excellent workplace and learning environment. Augustus served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Gulf War veteran. He has a National ‘A’ class Engineering license, a certification in HVAC/R Technology, an Associate’s in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Education from Strayer University.

One of his passions and accomplishments was starting The Pennsylvania Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Association, a non-profit motorcycling organization, with his father. His biggest joy is seeing his three children becoming honorable adults in society and building a better tomorrow for our children.
