The Capital Programs team, in partnership with Perryman Shoemaker and the Construction and Design teams, organized a “Day of Service” event at the Cassidy Construction Site to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Instead of planning a march or a luncheon, they decided to perform acts of service to make the neighborhood cleaner. Area block captains and external stakeholders attended the event, and about 20 volunteers worked together to clean up the school neighborhood. Pizza was provided to everyone who attended the event to reward their hard work.
