Ben Oas brings a new fresh view to Capital Programs and has quickly proven to be the deserving leader of our design team. Ben has worked with several nationwide organizations since 2015 in a variety of different roles. Between drafting and project management, he also helped develop BIM standards and prototypical design documents that were rolled out to multiple architectural firms. Aside from project work specifically, he has experience overseeing teams between multiple offices at a time. Collectively, his staff maintained large numbers of projects across the greater Atlanta area.

Since joining JMT, he has managed design for $35M of work over 16 jobs for the School District of  Philadelphia, overseeing every part of the process from writing the RFP to advertisement, award, and final closeout. Due to the age of these buildings, environmental remediation is a regular requirement. Several projects are funded through grants with limited, specific usage requirements. He also coordinates directly with local utilities to capitalize on their energy efficiency rebate program, securing additional funding for the District. He has strong BIM management and technological and organizational skills, and we welcome him to the Capital management team!
