In November, the Division joined Urban School Food Alliance’s (USFA) member districts–18 of the nation’s largest school districts–for the first-ever Plastic Free Lunch Day USA! Plastic Free Lunch Day is when school lunch is served without single-use plastic. By participating, the Division played a role in protecting the environment and connecting climate action to the cafeteria!
