Dar’Rel “Lucky” joined the team in January 2022 and quickly took the reins in her new role as the Community Outreach and External Affairs Coordinator. She has proven what a valuable asset she is to the division in a short time.  Lucky comes to us from the Communications team in the Superintendent’s Office.

Before working for the School District of Philadelphia, Lucky was a valued member of the Community College of Philadelphia, Office of the Vice President of Budget and Finance, and has years of experience working in Marketing and Government Relations, Real Estate Development, and Conveyancing. The combination of Lucky’s years of experience and skills will help foster and strengthen the relationship between Capital Programs and external stakeholders, ultimately helping create safe and welcoming learning environments for students. As a proud graduate of the School District of Philadelphia, Lucky is eager to be part of the progress!
