The Operations Division of Transportation Services was awarded the Clean School Bus (CSB) grant program funding from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The funding amount is nearly $8 million for the District to use by April 2026.

This funding will enable Transportation Services to continue to transition their buses from diesel to electric. With the EPA’s support, the District will be able to replace 20 Type-C diesel buses with 20 Type-C electric school buses, significantly reduce emissions, and promote sustainability within the community.
