Students from kindergarten to 8th grade were chosen to participate in the first phase of designing the new Thomas Holme Elementary School building. The building will be a modern facility spanning over 88,000 square feet and will be able to accommodate up to 1200 students.
During the charrette process, students had the opportunity to collaborate with designers and architects and contribute their ideas for the new project. While younger students mainly focused on building models for the new playground, older students worked on the facade and stormwater management system. The exercise was a huge success!
