To achieve the Division’s goal of incorporating student input into the menu planning process, Food Services hosted the 4th Annual Student Food Show. The food show is an opportunity to hear directly from our students and allow them to shape their school menu. Approximately 200 students attended this year from twelve of our high schools (Fels, Lincoln HS, Northeast, George Washington HS, Saul, Swenson Arts & Tech, Sayre, Edison, Kensington HS, Franklin Learning Center, Bodine, and Ben Franklin HS). Schools were selected and invited to participate based on demographic data to obtain feedback from a diverse student representation. The results will be used to make menu and purchasing decisions in the school year 23-24.
