William Dick will receive a major systems overhaul that includes installing a modern gas-fired high-efficiency hot water boiler system, a new chiller plant for the entire building, and replacing the existing piping. All classrooms and other student spaces will receive new heating and ventilating units, and the building will receive new equipment to improve ventilation. The new automation system will improve comfort and help with efficient operation and temperature control.

The time frame for William Dick’s renovation work will begin this Summer and is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2024. The extensive renovation requires relocating students to the nearby recently renovated Anna B. Pratt school while construction is underway.
