Another milestone for the Office of Capital Programs Team! Richmond Elementary School received media attention in September for its $18+ million addition and major renovations. The ribbon cutting allowed students to showcase school pride and perform for the community. The school now has a new two-story addition of 5 classrooms and a new modern multi-function cafeteria. A new elevator between the old and the new building. A complete renovation of the existing building, including lead paint and plaster stabilization, abatement of all known asbestos material, upgraded bathroom facilities, renovation of the gymnasium, masonry repairs, new fire alarm system, new electrical service, relight of the entire building with LED fixtures.
