The Facilities PM crew is headed by Facilities Area Manager Derek Parker, including Ricky Davis, Dave McCall, Chris Sisto, Rick Mays, Ed Evans, and Joe Keepsey. The crew maintains all of the District’s vacant buildings and lots, ensuring that the grounds are maintained, graffiti is removed, the buildings are secured, and any hazards are attended to. They follow a schedule established by Derek to be sure no properties are missed. The crew also provides support to the various networks as well as assists with special projects and events.
Emergency response is another valuable service the crew provides! It is important to note that emergency response can be needed anytime, including late at night into the early morning hours. The crew recently responded to a flood caused by a plumbing leak working until 4 a.m. and reporting at 6 a.m. for their regular shift. They repair and maintain our snowblowers, mowers, and other grounds equipment in their spare time. They truly demonstrate the dedication and pride that all of the Facilities staff possess!
