The Ethan Allen Elementary School is undergoing a major renovation and is receiving a new LEED-certified, $19 million, 38,000 square foot addition. The addition has 13 classrooms, boys’ and girls’ restrooms, an elevator that provides accessibility to the entire building, an administration space with a secured entry, and a brand new gymnasium. The major renovation includes updates to the lighting, electric and data, heating and ventilation, fire alarm and security systems, new paint and flooring, and a new full-service kitchen and cafeteria. The addition is anticipated to be complete in April 2022 and the entire project complete by January 2023.
