Paul Bonewicz joined the Operations Department as the Assistant Director of Maintenance in 2016. In this role, he helped pioneer the District’s Registered Apprenticeship program. Prior to becoming the Director of Maintenance in 2020, Paul also served as an Assistant Director of Operations in the Office of Environmental Management.

A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Paul is a graduate of Drexel University, where he earned a B.S. in Management of Computerized Systems.  Paul continues to reside in Philadelphia with his wife, four children, two grandchildren, and two pets!
