As we move into the fall season, the Office of Facilities has been preparing for the upcoming heating season. All buildings are expected to have at least one boiler online by Monday, October 4, and a District-wide test on boilers will be conducted this week. Facilities will be prepared to provide heat to all schools throughout the District by Friday, October 15.

In addition, Facilities has begun weekly boiler report meetings to discuss heating issues at various locations. Fuel oil tank and supply line pipe cleaning will take place at seven locations that were problematic during the 2020/2021 heating season.
