Maureen Edozie joined the School District in 2013 as the Director of Fiscal Services in the Office of Grant Compliance and Fiscal Services. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing financial management and reporting. She provided guidance to grant program personnel and schools in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. After nearly two years in that position, she was promoted to Operations as the Director of Fiscal Services for Transportation, and her position has since evolved to Director of Business Operations. In Transportation, Maureen oversees all fiscal operations. She is responsible for developing and managing the annual Transportation budget. In addition, she manages the collection of School District and Intermediate Units pupil transportation data and submits Pennsylvania State Subsidy Reports. She also manages the Parent Transportation Programs and the SEPTA Student Fare Card Program and oversees the distribution of cards to approximately 65,000 students.
Maureen has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Boston College and a Master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern University. She also has several years of experience working as a Business Manager and overseeing financial operations in education and nonprofit environments. In her personal time, she enjoys working out and traveling.
