Since returning to work last June, the Maintenance department has completed 32,204 work orders. In addition, the work order backlog was significantly reduced by 32% from 17,174 to 11,622. This summer, the maintenance team will continue to support the improvement of ventilation in schools, by completing ventilation-related projects in 33 schools. Overall, the Department plans on completing more than 93 projects this summer in addition to reducing the number of open work orders.
