The Office of Leadership Development hopes to support talented and driven future principal candidates in their development process as they navigate the course requirements and training required to obtain certification. We host formal partnerships with local universities to increase opportunities for high quality talent from diverse backgrounds to lead our city’s schools. Some of our programs subsidize the cost of principal coursework.
The Office of Leadership Development also provides targeted training and coaching to ready future principals for the complex job of leading and sustaining our highest-need schools.
