The Ellis Trust for Girls funds a range of exciting and meaningful experiences and opportunities to help girls strengthen their academic skills, develop their character, perfect their talents, and discover who they are and who they hope to be!
In the 2018/2019 academic year, Ellis spent over $3,000 per student on enrichment activities. Over 200 young women in Philadelphia high schools already take advantage of this opportunity.
Ellis Scholars spend their summers at Temple University, Spelman College, Moore College of Art, the University of the Arts, summer camps & MORE!
Ellis Scholars:
- Attend a Philadelphia Public/Charter High School
- Meet our criteria as stated on our website
- Are excited about opportunities to enhance their high school experience by participating in academic programs outside their school
