The Kids in Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need.

Recent studies show that when kids have new school supplies of their own:
Grades, classroom behavior, and engagement improve, Self-esteem increases, Attitudes toward school and learning strengthen.

The FACE Office will be giving away 25,000 backpacks to schools on a first come, first served basis FREE of charge. PLUS, for orders over 200 backpacks, we will deliver the backpacks to your school FOR FREE! (For orders under 200, schools must pick up on their own at 440 N. Broad Street.)

Community organizations and charter schools may also request backpacks, though the FACE Office cannot provide delivery services for community organizations/charter schools.

On December 20, 2017, the Kids in Need Foundation will launch its backpack giveaway with a celebration at Barry Elementary School.
