Nicole Solis has been an educator in Philadelphia since 2004. She has experience as a classroom teacher, a digital literacy teacher, and as a technology teacher leader/school technology coordinator.

At the beginning of her career, Nicole instantly developed an appreciation for integrating technology in the classroom. She was an early adopter of the SMART Board and regularly provided SMART training sessions for her colleagues. Nicole has always advocated for more technology in her buildings. When technology wasn’t readily available, Nicole fundraised and wrote grants to bring more devices into her schools. Her interest in technology inspired her to enroll in an instructional technology graduate program, giving her more knowledge and skills that she now uses to train and mentor her fellow educators.

Nicole genuinely enjoys sharing her passion for technology integration with others. In addition to being a lover of all things tech, Nicole loves spending time with her friends and her family, including her husband, two sons, and two boston terriers. She also loves to travel and meet new people!
