Born and raised in Jamaica, Dwayne Wedderburn moved to the United States at the age of 16 and resided in Arizona for 4 1/2 years. After moving to New Jersey, Dwayne met and married his beautiful wife, Siomara, and is now the proud father of three children ages 15, 10, and 6.
A Rowan University graduate, he began his teaching profession at Urban Promise Ministries, where he taught elementary and middle school students. After several years, he transitioned and continued teaching at Camden’s Promise Charter School, where he served 7th and 8th-grade students.
Dwayne’s thirst for new experiences and a sincere desire to serve others have propelled him to the School District of Philadelphia, where he currently functions as a technology integration specialist in the Office of Educational Technology.
