Maureen Brown is a creative and energetic teacher who works with administrators, teachers, and students, using technology to increase engagement, learning, and productivity.
Maureen believes that technology plays a vital role in 21st century education. Professional development for teachers, hands-on training, in-classroom coaching and support for systems and applications are critical to the effective use of the technology in our schools.
Maureen has worked in the Office of Educational Technology as a school-based instructional coach. She also has many years of experience across grades K-8 as a classroom teacher in the School District of Philadelphia.
Maureen has a master’s degree in applied technology in education from Chestnut Hill College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood and elementary education from Temple University.
