Dear School District of Philadelphia Students and Families,
At the School District, we are committed to caring for the mental health and well-being of our students, and offering them opportunities to care for themselves! That is why we launched Kooth this year – an online mental health and well-being platform designed to provide access to personalized, digital mental health and wellbeing resources.
Since February, hundreds of Philadelphia students have experienced the benefits of Kooth. They have accessed the online counseling, used the peer-to-peer support features, shared the digital resources, and more. This summer, we want to encourage even more students to use Kooth if and when they need it.
Therefore, we are excited to announce the Kooth Summer Wellness campaign! This summer, students and schools will have the opportunity to compete for a visit from Kooth ambassador and Philadelphia Eagle Lane Johnson! Winning is simple. Here’s what you have to do:
- Sign Up: Schools will earn points for each new individual registration. So if you haven’t yet, sign up today!
- Be Active: Activities on Kooth earn points for your school. Every activity counts, so make sure to comment, post, journal, chat and explore!
- Keep Coming Back: The more you use Kooth in June, July and August, the more points you earn for your school. So tell your friends!
This fall, Lane Johnson will visit the school that has earned the most points. Attached are some social media graphics to get you started. You can also share this video. Follow @Kooth_us to see all of Lane’s videos this summer. And make sure to use #SDPSummerWellness on social media to be part of the campaign!
Good luck students. I hope you have a happy and healthy summer!
Sincerely,
