Jan 5th Update: No Additional District Schools Shifting to Virtual Learning

Dear School District of Philadelphia staff and families,
Based on our review of this evening’s staffing data, all schools that are currently providing in-person learning will continue to do so at this time. The next staffing data review will occur tomorrow afternoon, and we will provide the next update by 4 p.m.
We encourage anyone who is eligible to get vaccinated if you haven’t yet done so. The District has partnered with several vaccine providers to provide free COVID-19 vaccine events. You can find the current list of events here. You can also receive the COVID-19 vaccine at clinics, pharmacies, and other locations throughout Philadelphia. Find a location near you on the City of Philadelphia’s website here or atwww.vaccines.gov.
As a reminder, PreK-12 families who need internet access can dial 2-1-1 to get connected for free through PHLConnectED. For language services, press 8.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dr. William Hite
Superintendent
