Students from 5 Schools Win at Pennsylvania’s Annual Media and Design Competition
On March 22, 2024, 181 students from 27 schools participated in the Regional Philadelphia Media and Design Competition hosted at the Constance E. Clayton Education Center. The first-place winners in Middle and High School moved on to represent the School District of Philadelphia at the state-level competition. 16 Middle and 14 High School students from 8 district schools competed against top projects submitted by students across the state in the 29 IUs in the Pennsylvania Media and Design Competition at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA on May 21 and 22.
Students at five Philadelphia Schools placed at the competition. The winners included:

Lea Johnson, Siting Liang, Max Pich - Marian Anderson School | 1st in Graphic Design and Logo
Faith Jones-Mcintyre, Taraji Robinson - Penn Alexander School | 2nd place in Web Design

The 25th Annual Pennsylvania Media and Design Competition is an event where students from districts across the state compete in categories such as 3D Design, Animation, Digital Movie, Graphic Design and Logo, Programming, and Web design. The School District of Philadelphia has competed in this competition for 20 years.
